Okay Thursday, didn't do a whole lot, just chilled, needed to have an off day.
Friday, drove up to Estes Park to see my mom. Hung out with her most of the day which was nice, saw her new apartment, the cats, her new cheesy windchime. Seriously it's like uber white trash kiche....it's awesome.

I bought a ton of records in Estes from the thrift store including a bunch of Japanese and Chinese 78s. I am going to have Uncle Jeff transcribe them for me. yay! I got this really odd "Poi Dog" album record by this Hawaiian guy, I put it up in my office (ie my corner of the radio station).
My car battery died in the parking lot of the Safeway in Estes so I asked this UNC student for a jump, she was really nice about it.
On my way down into Boulder I stopped at the new development in North Boulder. Took a picture of the olf Drive-In sign that is still up with all these houses around it, pretty weird.
I really wanted to do some put-put golf (it's across the street) but when I called Trav, his dad was still over so I said scratch those plans. He had been felling ill so I took him some flowers and a get well kit later on and left so I could get to bed early.
I was really concerned with getting my stuff together for pledge drive so I did that on Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday night, Rachel (DU) and I went to see Gogol Bordello. That was AWESOME. They kicked ass as always. I love the Fox Theater. Eugene got up on the bar that seperates the 21+ from the pit and was dancing on it. Rachel and I got Eugene's ass in our faces since we right on the bar.
Rachel went to class with me the next day and then I drove her down to Denver because of the RTD strike. When I got back to the station, Nat came in and told me that Gogol Bordello was going to be coming down to the station. A bunch of us hung out and they played a 20 min set (which I have on CD) and then I got a poster signed by them and pictures. As Eugene handed Larry back to me he said "That must be a deep and personal thing for you." It was sweet.
The rest of the week was realitvely uneventful. I went to have sushi with Mike (DJ at the staion) after one of the all station meetings. That was really fun, we talked a long while, he walked me home, and I learned alot about him. Bobby had me record the CD of the Month spot for April (yes, it's a "slightly stuffed up and on a crappy mic" me... they were also drilling above the prod room so as soon as I'd almost nail a sentence, they'd start drilling). We had the manager's dinner which was really really fun. I had this amazing shimp green curry over udon noodles. We hung out and laughed and had a grand ol time.

So pledge drive went pretty well. Saturday was pretty kickin', mostly because Paul donated 42 watts. Sunday was slow.... so I didn't beat last semester's record. But I will try again in the Fall. Mike and I rocked it on Monday, Chris and I rocked it really hard on Friday raising over $3000 in 3 hours.
I am loving my job as Traffic Director. It rocks.
I haven't heard from the Dean if I am going to have my class dropped. Here's hoping.
Physics exam went okay, did better than the first two exams and was still sick and only got to study for about an hour. I hope for a C or D in that class. We'll see how it goes.
I DJed for the UMC art gallery opening for a few hours. Got paid, woot! They had about 300 people through the gallery. I also got complimented about my outfit a number of times which was great too.
I swear I'd be either insane or dead if it weren't for the station, Londyn and my dad. I am counting down the days until the end of the semester.
Trav and I have made up somewhat, he still hasn't apologized so I therefore have put no real strain or effort into our friendship. Plus my body still hates me so it makes everything difficult. I have become quite the hermit over the past few weeks. Like I said, one the end of the semester comes I will be in new classes and a apartment and people will be back in town (Clay gets back from China soon!!).
Yeah okay, I am tired. Laying down now.
