Mini things

There was a house warming party at Amy's house last Saturday. I had fun, got to see Ian whom it seems I haven't seen in forever. He has a hole in the ground in Arizona. No, really. He's building his house. I got to see Amesie. I miss my Amesie.

I took the bus back up to Boulder. I was sitting in Market St. Station waiting for the B, rockin' out to my Ipod vaguely watching people and staring off into space. A guy, probably in his 40's, homelesss, walks past me, stops and then walks past again. He then comes up and says "I'm sorry to bother you but you are so beautiful, I just had to tell you." I am shocked, I shake his hand and smile "Thank you." He smiles "No thank you. You made my day. I am Souix, life's been hard for me but you made my day. You are so beautiful." And then he walked on...

Ever since I got my hair trimmed, everyone has been complimenting me on it. I was in the uber fancy pants salon with Jen while she was getting her hair trimmed and one of the other stylists came by and said "oh wow, I love you hair! oh it's so cute and looks great on you...did you get it done here?" I looked at her very sheepishly and said "um, thanks, I got it cut at...um...great clips. I figure if they ever mess it up...it's hair, it grows."

Thanksgiving was good.

My dad has seemed more depressed lately. It's kinda weird. Not quite used to it and if I ask I am not sure I can help. Hmmm...

I hate football, it took me 45 min to park my car across the street from Hallett (where is was and I wanted to move it). They made me go allll the way around campus when all I wanted to do was go across the street. At least I got experience in stop and go traffic driving. And I rocked out in my car.

Oh I went out on the "date" with Jason. It was fun. We were out till 2am. Went to the Taj and then the Scumdowner (Sundown Saloon) hoped over to Catacombs and then back to Scumdowner.
We took over the jukebox for several hours. We played lots of pool, lots of Maston Jones, and some Area 51 at Catacombs. I felt bad that Jason kept paying for everything so I bought him a beer and few rounds of pool. I have to say that it was the least akward date I've ever been on, which is a good thing. Maybe we can do it again...we'll see.

I got to see Daniel too (Amy came up and stayed overnight on Monday and met a bunch of my Boulder friends). Ames, Daniel and I all went out for coffee and just chatted. It was good seeing him again.

I am so sleepy...bedtime.

Hola! I'm just catching up on your posts, and one thing I have to say is, if anyone knows a freakish amount about music and is staggeringly witty and charming (and therefore could do the weekday morning show at the drop of a hat) it's you, Steppie. You've opened whole new worlds of music up to me, and I'm so grateful! If it gets offered to you, I say you fulfill your radio destiny ^_^ I'll see you soon, back in the old CO.

Sorry about missing you this morning. I overslept. I was planning on showing up around 9 to catch your last hour. Anyway, give me a holler this evening when you're around and awake and we'll chat about a plan.

Ergh, sorry this took so long, I had the flu over break. Bleh, still feel crappy lol. Miss you thought. Building a house... wow, I'd be way too lazy. Way to use present tense in story telling- that means it was really impactive for you :) I'm glad someone told you, I don't think I tell you enough. So your hair WAS shorter at my presentation? It seemed all cute and different but I thought I was losing my mind. It's hard to ask parents about that stuff- it's such a role reversal. Good luck m'dear. I love football. On TV. In my house. With a bowl of popcorn. I can see how your situation was suckage. Hourrah for the "date" we already talked about that, but haha life is funny.
Hugs n such.
