ack! the evil wires and gooey ickyness!

So today I got an echocardiogram or EKG. I, once again, got hooked up to a machine with wires hanging off my chest and slathered in disgusting gel gooey stuff, ew. ew. ew.
It is basically an ultrasound of your hear. You get to watch and listen to it beat, it is pretty cool albeit a bit uncomfortable.
The image on the screen is basically like the one below:

yup, the heart.

They make sure that your heart and valves are working properly and that blood is flowing the right direction in the chambers.
The doctor told me my heart was fine and that I can rule it out as a possible cause for my migraines. I also got the results of my heart halter and they said it found nothing unusual either.
So far the list of specialists and tests that have been rules out as cause of my migraines are: Ear Nose and Throat, Eyes, MRI, CAT scan, and now Cardiologist. MRI ruled out a ton of things including MS (they scared me for a while with that one) and brain tumor. I see tha new Nuerologist is a couple of weeks.
This weekend, I got a car.
oh yeah, and it actually runs.
Here's my baby...

yay!

...and the back.

It's an '87 Camry, Gold/Tanish, leather seats, a sunroof and power everything. My dad keeps driving it to work, I think he's trying to show it off or something. He got a good deal on it which is good.
So...this means...I am going to learn how to drive. I need to study up because I am going to take the test to get my permit on Friday and then I can start practicing. I am signed up for driving lessons at Master Drive (luckily they just opened a Lakewood course so I don't hav to journey to Parker). It's two days of defense and emergency driving (like skidding and 360's and stuff) and then four days of classroom and 12 hours of drive time. The goal is to have my liscense before move-in for the Fall.
Most new drivers can't wait to get behind the wheel, I am sorta dreading it. But it's a challenge and so what the hell.
