Houston, we have a junkie.

I want an X-box. I really want an X-box. Here is the problem though...
Basic new x-box system: $149.00
Refurbished x-box: $119.00 - 129.00

Okay so in theory let's say I got a refurbed system, then there is the games:
Halo 2: $49.00

So that puts it at: $168.00 - 178.00

However, one problem solved, I may not have an x-box, but I have my own copy of Halo 2

So now its: $119.00 - 129.00

But Live, sweet sweet x-box Live. I mean if I am going to have Halo 2 and one controller, I can play campaign till the cows come home but I would want X-box Live. Live (if you haven't played it) is bascially the internet gaming. You get a year worth of subsciption and a headset so you can talk to the other players, and let's say your father just recently got DSL (woot. finally.) then you can play without problems. I love playing Live.

X-box live: $69.00

Total: $188.00 - 198.00

Now since I probably will have to buy a new X-box since the refurbished are few and far between: $218.00

They have some package deals for an X-box and Live but I am still looking at right around $200.

Damn.

I suppose I should start saving my pennies now. I don't know that I really want to wait till my birthday for two reasons:
a) it is 3 months away...argh.
b) the much bigger reason is that I don't want to just "get" an x-box. I want to earn it. I think that I will appriciate it more and enjoy it more and treasure it more if I have to earn it.

I think I'll start saving my pennies now.
