Today has been great!

Today has been a really good day, despite the downer of that bitch Jason leaving for Germany tomorrow (know I love ya babe and am insanely jealous). No, really today has been really awesome.

Spent several hours with Jason, Paul and then later their cool friend Zane. We chatted, burned CDs, etc. Oh for those following the CD progression, I made the new Radio 1190 Vol. 3 Mix today. Ask me for a copy! I also saw Londyn several times today and laughed quite a bit with her. We had a ton of fun. Jason is out of zee country in less than 24 hours and vill be gone for zee whole year. Good luck man, we'll def keep in touch.

Staff meeting was so fun today. Andrea (our Hall Director) brought in rootbeer floats and we met the housekeeping staff. And we had our general chit-chatt about stuff. The big game is this Saturday (CU vs. CSU) and it's on the CU campus. Sewall sits in between the Hill and the stadium....sucks for us! I'll be in Denver till 7ish and be back in Boulder around 8:30ish. So I'll be back in time to help Dawn and Saba with drunken residents.

I had one-on-one meeting with Jason (the Hall Director Assistant) , and we played video games....specifically Marion Bros. 3 on old school nintendo. Very productive.

I was a couple minutes late to Intro to Islam but class only ended up being like 30min long becasue my professor had a meeting. I misssed class on Tuesday because I wasn't feeling well so I asked the guy next to me if I might be able to photocopy his notes. He was totally cool with it. His name is Brian, and he's a a Biochem major. This is both our only non-science class. He is a really neat guy, we talked for about 5 minutes after class. I am so happy I know someone in that class now!

Oh and I am wearing my Ozomatli shirt today and I've had like 4 people come up to me and say "Ozomalti! Right on!!" or ask if I went to the concert. Love that band, cereal...no flakin'.

I wonder what Nick is up to till dinner...I think he might have class actually. I really feel this need for social interaction right now. Maybe Phil or Tiffany is around. I think I might go wander...should be reading but like I said, feel like a social buttefly right now. I love my staff, they are just so fun to hang out with.

I was just thinking of travel and stuff and I am going to try and get research abroad this summer. Maybe with GPS tracking...in Pakistan. Ali always says "The better life awaits YOU in Pakistan." *laughs* maybe...the Geophysics prof aparently has grant money out the wazoo...so yeah.
