The Great Marlene

I got my hair cut. It is now a short, 1920-30's style bob. My hair that I cut off was ~11" long so I am sending it to Lock of Love (www.locksoflove.org). The take the hair and make wigs for little kids who have lost their hair because of kemo treatment. I love it! I can make it look like Marelene's or Molly Ringwald. :-D
Amanda drove me there and gave me moral support. Amanda...you rock. Like granite. :)
The ladies at the salon were so nice too! yay! I got some books at the library and showed them what I wanted. The lady did a great job.
My hair currently sits in a bag, I need to hook up my printer tonight (along with 5 million other things) and print off the form so I can mail it to locks tomorrow.
I think my haircut looks adorable, AND it really motivates me to look pretty in the morning, I might even start wearing a little lipstick...*gasp*.
Tomorrow night they (the Quad RAs) are having 80's night, I'll have to dig a bit and see if I have some semi-80's clothes and maybe I'll go like Molly punk. :) woot!

Go team bob! Of course, yours is more 1930's, and mine is more emo, but anyway... You rock my socks! And it's awesome that you're donating your hair- I considered it, but my hair was too damaged. :-( Kisk ass and chew bubblegum!
