Unpacking and unpacking and unpacking....

SO....

Moved into the new apartment. It's sweet. Dead quiet over here and lots of room (well a good amount for me thus far). Plus my roommate is really cool (if she's around, which is really infrequently). It's a wee bit cold since we are in the basement and really don't want to run the heat. I am trying to figure out ways to deal with it; sweatshirts, blankets and slippers have been my solutions. I leave the blinds open in my room to warm it up slightly but although I get quite a bit of sunlight, it's not direct. I am going to get my halogen lamp this weekend and that will heat up my room nicely.

I finally got my computer hooked up to the net and yes, Amy, I did find my mic. It was about 1 inch away from where I was looking before....however, it's now in a box somewhere because I had to pack it. But my wireless card isn't working. It's odd. Hopefully my solution of running a CAT-5 all the way around the apartment to my computer will work and Arwen (my roommate) will still be able to use the wireless for her computer.

In other news, I GOT A C- IN PHYSICS!!! woooooot!!!
Thank goodness I am done with that class.
I had to double check that they had sent me the right grades because I thought maybe they had sent me someone elses grades. There must have been a killer curve in the class.

Amanda and Katie graduated. I got to see Adam (Amanda's boyf), Alexa (my former roommie), Maddie (her sis), Jason (paleo), John (Adam and Amanda's friend) and Julie (Amanda's sister). Plus I got to meet most of Amanda's family. I missed the Geology gradutaion (I had to work the Fox last night so I was tired this morning), but I saw Henrietta and I will see her again on Monday (she is teaching the maymester class I am taking.... GIS forensics).

Speaking of the Fox, got to work with Travis (1190 Travis not drunken ex-Travis). He was the stage manager. I also met one of Sam's roommates, Jessica, who seems pretty cool.

Okay I am going to force myself to stop being a heroin addict who just found a stash (ie. spending all my time on the internet because I haven't had it for 3 days).
