Gotta quit..... (shit.)

I have to quit at the Fox. My body can't handle the stress already and classes start tomorrow. I woke up this morning and was walking back from the bathroom when I tripped and then collapsed. I didn't even work a show last night but my body is just exausted. Today I feel like I am hungover, the lack of sleep caught up with me. I slept 8 hours but I still feel like I am going to collapse at any moment.
It's sad. I really wanted to work the Smoosh/Eels show, and The Streets show, and Peaches, now I am just going to buy tickets. Oh well. I was going to try to make it through mid-June to work the first two shows but I just can't do it. For a volunteer position, it's not worth stressing my body out over it.

I am depressed and relieved. If anyone has some time off this week just to like hang out or something, give me a call. I could use some socialization. I've taken to having my daily conversations with the clerks at Safeway and Blockbuster, pretty sad.

Oh and I watched "Everything is Illuminated". Love it! It's awesome film. It's one I think everyone should see. Plus I started cracking up when I saw the polka band is actually Gogol Bordello. Plus Eugene is an amazing actor, so is Elijah Wood. I am totally going to start saying "premium" instead of great or wonderful. I want it on DVD and I want the soundtrack.

Oh and if I haven't said so, I have a new show on 1190. Tuesdays 11pm-1am. It's called "Culture Clash" and it's going to be hip-hop, rock, pop, etc. from around the world, not in English. It's going to be more fusion and not so much traditional, like O-hum and Truckstop and stuff.
