Quick note

I dropped the evil GIS class because I don't like programming (using UNIX, HTML, and JAVA...no thanks).

This was Wed, Feb 1st, the last day to drop classes.

So I was talking to Juliana at the radio station and she told me about an Audio Production I class that is online through CU-Denver. Schweet!

I walk over to Regent to figure things out. I talk to one of the registration ladies I always see when I am there, Janey. She told me that if I can get the form signed by the professor by Friday at 5pm that they could add the course. After many phone calls and e-mail, I get a hold of the professor and he says that Friday, I can slide it under his door and that he'll sign it and post it back on his door (because he'd be in meetings all day). I drive all the way to Denver, drop off the form, go to the bookstore and luckily by a stroke of genius they actually have the textbook. Then I wait.

Finally I get the form back and go downstairs to the College of Arts & Media (whom I am taking the class through) to get the Dean's singature on the form. The lady behind the desk tells me that I can get the Dean's signature on my form if I fill out this additional form and get the instructor's signature. But my professor had left for the day, and so had the Dean.

I am flabergasted, so it took me 72 hours to get the orginal form signed by the instructor but in order to get the Dean to sign it off I need to get the instructor's signature on an additional form.

That makes no sense.
At this point I am totally frustrated by CU-Denver's paperwork bueracracy (this is like my billionth experience with CU-Denver paperwork B.S.) and I just left the office....well I kinda stormed out. I was pretty pissed.

I took the form back to Boulder on the off chance that it was all I needed. Janey told me to ignore what CU-Denver told me ("they don't know anything"), that all I needed was to go to Woodbury, they'd sign it off and I'd be in the class.

Janey rocks my socks, she's the nicest Registrar lady.

So I am now in Audio Production I after much drama. All my assingments are due at midnight tonight so I need to dash and work on stuff.

I have to watch the Super Bowl commericials for my Radio Production class so I am going over to Trav's to watch the game. yay!

Current Music: Moby - the newest album "Hotel", it fucking rocks my socks right now ("Where you end" is my favorite song right now)
