Ouch!

My dad sent me this link. It's demented rag doll Physics, the falling lady. If she gets stuck, just move her with your mouse.
My day was kinda like that. Boom, whack, crash, bang, a whole lota hurt.
Okay it wasn't that bad but it did sorta suck.
I had the whole horrible Physics class thing. I then was walking to GIS and I ended up walking with Richard who caught up with me, he's one of the other Diversity Mentors. Richard rocks.
I looked in front of us as we were talking and it was the RA couple holding hands. Well I guess I was right. He's taken. Bummer. I can never find the single straight men.
....
Went to GIS, and that was a bit better.
Okay, happiness...
The GIS in the Rockies conference is Sept. 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Babs (my Geog GIS prof) is letting me miss class next week to go to the conference. Henrietta (my geology GIS prof)is also letting me miss class to go. And I am just going to ditch Natural Hazards the 22nd since it is my only other clss that day (plus it is WAY easy and Alan would be cool with it). I need to find some of my nice dress clothes to wear. I am hoping I can get an internship out of this conference.
Best part, I am going for free! (It'd cost me $300 otherwise) I am a volunteer so we get to go for free. Wootness!
Studying for my Physics exam now. Which royally sucks. I did get to see Matt tonight which was pretty cool, we talked as we were both coming upstairs (we live on the 3rd floor).
We (Alvin, Myself and Matt) all watched the Big Labowski the other night. I had some of my homemade Hazelnut, Chocolate, Vanilla Swirl cookies leftover. Alvin didn't have any because he's allergic to nuts, but Matt really liked them.
So the other thing that really bugged me was that I nearly missed my Diversity meeting. I had gone to my Physics review session and totally spaced it.
Went bowling with a few guys on the floor last night, including Andrew (lives next door) and Jimi (across the hall from me). It was really fun. I totally suck but whatever. It was free cause they are doing a tournament. And I hope my camera was working because I think I got video of the only bowling alley in Boulder doing it's typical ghetto thing. We had free popcorn and soda and lots of laughs. We had to speed bowl the last games, we had 6 frames and 10 min left till they closed. And we did it (each of us had two balls and would roll before the little gate was up).
OH! And before I forget, elbow update. SO...my elbow is STILL healing. Apparently the 2nd time I fractured it, the bone rotated out slightly so I have a popping and sometimes slight pain when I move my hand (like from palm down to palm up). The doctor recomended that I take a 5 gallon bucket of water and just let my arm hang, this should stretch out my elbow and speed up the healing process as well as help move the bone back into place. I also get to go to physical therapy for it.
IF (big if) my elbow gets worse or is not healed in 2 months, then it's surgery. He said they will cut off and get rid of the part of the bone that is fractured (which is near the joint). Now if it comes down to this, I am getting a second opinion first. I don't want any fucking surgery though.
Back to the Physics studying. I hope my exam goes well. Wish me luck!
Current Mood: Stressed, and slightly infatuated.
