In other news, my arm is...eh better, I suppose. I still can't extend it fully and I have to take a bit of Tylenol for the pain. I can use it more though and I've started to be able to lift a little weight with it (which is good cause it's hard to move a box with one hand). I have two more othopedic appoinments to make sure it's okay.


Ames and I have been hanging out. I am so glad she is back in Colorado. She got a car too! Yay!!


I got a gym membership at the place down the street, I am going to start going next week (despite not being able to lift with the left arm). All the classes are included so I think I am going to go to the newly added Bellydance class and also learn how to rock climb (and certified) once I get my left arm healed and back in shape.


Well off to read my latest novel Kite Runner, really good so far. I finally got my box of books out of storage so I can finish Last Night a DJ Saved My Life and then I want to check out and finish Volcano Cowboys.


Oh and speaking of DJing, Danielle who does the show Testosterone Detox on 1190 invited me to do some turntablism. She and I had talked before about how there aren't enough female DJs out there. She has turntables, vinyl and some DJ books and invited me to learn and help her practice. Woot! So get to learn how to spin and all that. It'll be sweet!
