I love Radio 1190.

I just got home from the Radio 1190 Extravaganza. And it was a blast! I am sorta sad because the one friend who wanted to show up came but then couldn't find the place and I didn't get his phone call in time (Travis from my Physics class). But nevertheless, I had a great time.

The Oddfellows Lodge is amazing. Totally beautiful and huge. It was very 1920's & 30's and awesome. I love that building.

And it started to snow which made everything so beautful.

I was super happy to see everyone, Loki, Milkman, Mark, Pat, Ben, Shervin, Sean, JP, Jessica, Bobby, Peter, Adele, Dixie, Mabry, Hulse, etc. I got to chat a while with our new GM's wife Nancy. She is awesome and very funny.

I DJed for a while and it was really gratifying to DJ in such a large space but also to have people asking about what you are playing. I only was able to DJ for 20min, we did it in shifts. I played the Hazzards "Gay Boyfriend" and people went nuts, they LOVED it. Nancy and Loki esp wanted to know more about them so I refered them to their website. M.I.A. was a hit. So was 2 Raumwohnung and The Walls.

I also got a lot of stares from my outfit (hopefully I can get a pic from Loki or Ben) , picture a school girl, with bunny ears. Many people came up to me and complimented my outfit. I also danced like crazy which drew tons of attention.

So I was wondering to myself, who would hit on me tonight, because like at John's going away party, lots of drunk boys hit on me and it was fun. Flirty comments and being playful. It happens when you get lots of 1190 people together I think. We are all very close and playful and fun.

The people who did flirt with me tonight were a total surprise really. I felt very empowered and sexy. It was a nice ego boost.

Overall it was one of the best parties I have been to in a while, I hope we can do it more often. I love the 1190 family.
