Cum Lade?

I talked to my advisor Alan today. Alan is really awesome, so glad I have a really cool advisor.

We chatted about my honor thesis which, if all goes well, I will start working on this semester. I'll be working with the one of the geomorph prof in the dept. using GIS to map out gullies and see how they propagate throughout time and then determine if the underlaying geology is what controls the propagation. It'll be neat but hard.

I hope when it is all and done I will be:

a) be able to defend my thesis and present it properly
b) actually know how to go about and work on a thesis for when I reach grad school
c) have that little "Cum Lade" attached to my undergrad degree ( I can only get "Cum Lade" due to my GPA...which honestly, I will be happy just to be able to graduate with honors)

My biggest fear is that I will screw up somewhere along the way or I will choke and not be able to defend my thesis. I just have to keep my goal of getting into space in mind and I will hopefully do okay.
