Mit Ben, er ist ganz toll....

Just got back from my date (that was a date right?...let's just call it a date even though it wasn't directly stated when I asked him to go bowling). It was a blast, my throat is gone from laughing so hard, pretty good thing I don't have tonsils so it just stings like a bitch but I can swallow....keep your minds out of the gutter. It wasn't my mysterious plan but that plan requires free time, something of which both of us don't have. I was hoping we could take a picnic lunch up to the mountains and see the aspen turning. Maybe after fall break or something.

Ben (the nice guy that he is..:)) was doing some editing when I got there for one of the other DJs. So I hung out and talked to Brook and Jeff, and a bunch of other 1190 folks. Afterwards Ben asked if I minded if he watched the last few innings of the Sox game...I love baseball so I didn't mind sitting and watching it with him.
Anyway we went bowling, Ben is such a good bowler and I was crap tonight. I really should get my own ball at some point. I need to practice so more. It was fun though...he was coaching me on how to bowl better...but I still sucked. Kudos to him for trying though. I saw one of the Sewall residents, Matt. I am glad he's out having fun, he seemed so down about being in Boulder for the weekend.
We went up to the Hill after bowling and got Chinese food. We chit-chatted over dinner. It was nice.
After food we went back to Connections and played a few games of pool. As we were walking in I saw Jason, Sewall's HDA, he recognized Ben from one of his classes. We played pool for quite a while, Ben is also very good at it. I got in some nice shots in as well. We saw one of the 1190 engineers/RA in will vill, Matt.. One thing I thought was interesting, Matt started talking station tech stuff with Ben, and Ben's reply was like, let's not talk about station stuff right now. I thought it was sweet in a way toward me but I am probably reading to much into it becasue probably Ben just didn't want to talk station stuff...but yeah. I saw a bunch of ResLife folks from Kitt West, as well and Steven, one of the kids I knew last year in Aden with some other enginerds.
After pool we stopped back at the station, I saw Hinna and Asish who do the Beats from the East show. I talked with Ben a bit, browsed the web with him. It was a little akward for me at time. But then I came back to Sewall (saw Kevin and Noah on my way out, they are doing training with Ben tonight)...and here I am.

So no lovey dovey stuff but a few things I noticed tonight. Yes, Ben is a sweetheart. He smells good (guys who smell good...I dunno...I just love it). I still really like him. We have a ton of fun together. Not so sure how he feels about me...but we'll see. Sure, I noticed alot more about him, but I am tired and I need to get up in 5 hours. Let's hope I have a voice...I may not if this sore throat is around at 7am...which could make DJing a bitch.

Anonym hat gesagt…

That whole smell thing just struck a chord with me... ahh, I love good smelling guys, too. One in particular, and it reminds me of last week when I was in Safeway with Richard, and I found Justin's deodorant and just stood there for, like, a minute, smelling it. Ahhh. Yeah boys! Love you, Steph.
