The Steppie Quiz

Since I obviously can't do anything productive and that's why my blog has 5 million updates....I'll make a "Are You Like Steppie? Quiz" which is quick, painless (realtively), and can be done in the comfort of your own home or office. Please grab a pen and paper and follow along....

ARE YOU LIKE STEPPIE???

1) It's another beautiful morning in Boulder, you go outside and see the Flatirons you:
a) are amazed I didn't spell "beautiful" wrong
b) go back inside for another 7 hours of sleep
c) *sigh* and admire the wonderful view
d) *sigh* and admire the wonderful feldspar conglomerate
e) *sigh* and wonder how people built the Flatirons
f) What the hell are you talking about??

2) You stop by Wild Oats, you are only dissapointed with the fact:
a) You can't buy that exact brand of organic hummus that makes you oh so happy.
b) People tend not to use deodorant at Wild Oats....nor razors.
c) That it is no longer called Alfalfa's so you can't go down the aisles singing the Leftover Salmon song...but you do anyway.
d) What is Wild Oats?
e) That most everything is organic and vegetarian...and tofu creeps you out.
f) That there aren't more hippies at Wild Oats these days.

3) You see a large festival, you:
a) Run screaming....YAY! Festival!!!
b) Mumble to yourself and go the other direction.
c) Dance with the Hare Krishna group.
d) *sigh* and only go because there happens to be a cute guy (or gal if you prefer) there.
e) Grab the gnome and the camera and go!
f) EWWW! The hippies like get together and do stuff?! Ack!

4) How many "alternative lifestyle" people do you know?
a) With all the bi, gay, lesbian, drag queen and transvestities I've met, I've lost count.
b) Um none.
c) Oh quite a few here and there.
d) I saw a gay couple on TV once.
e) None, and that's just wrong.
f) I had a gay friend once.

5) Your room is:
a) messy.
b) has all sorts of stuff, all over the walls.
c) has some posters of Britney and Eminem but not much else.
d) cool, I own some really hideous furniture.
e) pristine and I keep it that way all the time.
f) new, everything is new, nothing used.

6) Someone is looking through you CDs:
a) I own 5 CDs! yep count 'em....5 whole CDs...I don't listen to music much.
b) N'Sync and like you know...new stuff...I always go out and buy the new CDs!
c) Your collection borderlines the insane in both quanity and ecclectiveness.
d) Plus it's not JUST CDs....you should see all the records! and 8-tracks!
e) I have quite a few CDs, nothing nuts and a few records, maybe some 8-tracks.
f) Everything I own is burned and I got from friends, I don't any CDs that I've found.

7) And your family is:
a) normal, yeah pretty much average...nothing unexpected.
b) a little weird....but I think everyone is like that.
c) boring!
d) boring and I like it. Everything is predictable.
e) f--king nuts...wow...they are REALLY crazy.
f) really f--king nuts...if you don't think so, you haven't met them. But it keeps thing interesting.

OKAY I am bored with this and want to eat some food... LETS SCORE! (the game the game. perv.)

35-36 points: YOU ARE STEPPIE! Congrats you are a wee bit off the deep end and you like it. If you got this many points and are male...let me know...have I mentioned I am single? If you are female, you are either a good friend or imposter.

34-28 points: Steppie's friend, Wow! You must be one of my friends! Congrat you are weird and you tend to embrace the weirdness. Good for you! You also most likely have a slightly weird taste in music, own a bunch of CDs/records, and have gone with me to take photos of Larry (and want a gnome of your own *cough*Amy*).

27-15 points: Steppie's friend who is creeped out, Okay so you are slightly creeped out by what I do from time to time, but it's cool, you still hang out with me. So our groups tends to border on the insane but at least you can say you have some interesting friends! If we happen to be great friends and you got this score, you know of the "Steppieness" but choose not to embrace it, which is okay. Or maybe it was a poorly written quiz and you just scored low...in that case, put yourself in the 34-28 point group.

14-10 points: Average, Maybe you hang out with me but you think I am f--king nuts. You are normal and you like it, you music taste is average and you even dip into the dark pool of mainstream and enjoy is cool cool waters. 10 points or less: Sewall resident, Do you live in my building? I mean you are kinda mainstream and dull. Or maybe you have never been to Boulder. Or maybe for some really crazy reason you just pretend to be weird when we hang out and are actually quite normal...you creep ME out if that's the case.
