It's been raining quite a while now...what did I suddendly move to Seattle at the end of May? Actually I really like having the rain, makes everything cooler. I have to say that hot Colorado summers without air conditioning suck majorly, I know because I spent a lot of time without it. Currently I have no air conditioning and no heat, which only really bites when it gets too cold, I don't get direct sunlight in this room, so that's not too hard to do.
So I was bringing back about 5 tons of groceries (never go to the store when you are out of food and hungry), dragging these bags across campus from the bus stop, I stopped for a minute to rest. These two RAs who were walking toward me rushed over and helped me carry my bags. I refused their help but they told me they were going to help anyway. They totally rocked. The guy was pretty funny, he was hired mid-year last year and had an interesting time with his residents, he sympathized with my floor meeting where only 4 residents showed up.
Speaking of RAs, I am co-cooridinating this huge 500 person event for CU ResLife, and my other co-chair who volunteered today was Kris, my old Chem tutor. He's a really nice guy (can be a little shy at first) but it'll be neat working with him.
And as far as other RAs, Jason hasn't e-mailed me back but we are both pretty busy. I'd be pretty creeped out if he sent me like 5 million e-mails a day, my friends need have to have lives outside of me unless they are at work and REALLY bored.
I saw Hannah today, very cool! She came up to Boulder with her family and we got to spend some time together. We came full circle in our conversationg, we talked about birth, school, family, and death.
Well I should go throw my laundry in the dryer, and they're are shutting off the water tomorrow, so I should finish washing dishes.
