The Night Santa Went Crazy...

Mr. Parker: "Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian".
Mrs. Parker: "Uh, I think that says FRAGILE, dear."

So the crazy holidays are basically over. Thank goodness.

Some of things I can count on every Christams:

• Someone will give Ella (Grandma's dog) human food, and she'll get sick.
• Aunt Jan's Christmas letter gloating about the accomplishments however minor and spicing it with lots of lies.
• My sister Heidi will take me to escape the family as much as possible.
• Cousin Bev (from Indiana) will manage to tick off every member in the family during her stay.
• My grandmother will make way too many cookies and my cousins, Halee and Ryan, will get sick of doing them. This year was only about 5 batches of sugar cookies.
• I will get bras and underwear, wrapped or in my stocking.
• Grandma will lose someone's gift and find it mid-March.
• Too much stuff will be bought.
• I get excited because I get hardware for my computer.
  
• Mom will get way too stressed out and proclaim she hates Christmas.
  
• My family will get into a major fight with someone leaving the house at the end of it. This year this happened just as I was leaving, thank goodness.
• I make a major Christmas commute due to the fact my parents have been divorced since I was 6 and both want to see me Christams day.
• I end up loving everything I get, but still love giving much more.

And luckily I am able to find something every year that really gets me in the Christmas spirit, this year it was DJing on Christmas day and shopping for my family (esp my sister and dad). Otherwise I can't say I am fond of the holidays only because it is always a huge hassle for me. I wish that my mom and dad's families got along so that we could have just one huge Christmas celebration.

Althought I can say there is never a dull momnet. Christmas for our family falls somewhere between the Parker Family (Christmas Story, and see above) and the Grizwalds (National Lampoon Christmas).

DJing was so freaking sweet this morning. I had way too much fun and who knew I am the World Trade Center does an awesome Christmas song. I actually got quite a few callers who really liked my music and made requests.

Well I should get to cleaning since now this place is more of a mess than before. Crap.

Oh one exciting thing that I got is a video conversion system for my computer so now I can make awesome awesome Anime Music Videos! Maybe next year at NDK I will actually get a video in. yAy!!
