"I was 40 beers drunk..."...it's crazy swiss girls drunk on vodka .... *tisk* *tisk* *tisk*

Alright, Weds night I went with Dad to see my first 21+ show which was Gogo Bordello. They are an insane Ukranian punk band with violin and accordian. The concert was pretty sweet despite the fact my ear were ringing for two days because the Larimer Lounge is small and the band is extremely loud. Also cigg smoke....which esp after living in Boulder for a few years, bothers me even more.
The crowd was nuts and very drunk by the time Gogo Bordello came on which was about midnightish. There was this one girl that my dad nicknamed "Heidi" after the Swiss girl in the Alps in the movies and cartoon shows....cause this chick looked like she needed to get out of the bar and tend to the goats. She has blonde hair in tight buns and long legs with heels and little shorts, fur purse and this crazy shirt on. Seriously she looked like she came from the swiss alps and she and her also crazy dressed friend were completely wasted....on vodka. They like tried to jump members of the band or dry hump the lead singer.....cracked me up everytime they fell....
It was an intense but great concert and I was so shocked that they played my favorite song "When the Trickster Starts a Walkin' " (track 10 off the 3rd 1190 Mix if you have a copy of my mix CD) and a few other songs off their first CD. WOOT!
So like I said the band is, an accordian player, violinist, guitarist, bassist, and drummer, plus the lead singer and two girsl who come in at random times to play big drums and other random instruments.
The violinist is SO COOL. That guy is so awesome. The concert felt like the back of an eastern european bar with the crowd and the band and it was so much fun.
I guess they are just a bordello kind of guys.
Tomorrow night is Magnetic Fields. Yay for Stephen Merrit!
Other than that things are okay, I need to work a bit more in Physics for that D.....and F just looks really stupid.
I sent up all my classes, 18 credit hours. I'm taking: Representing the Holocaust, World Music: Africa/America, American West (Sewall class), Intro to Cartography (map-making), and Physics 2.
Oh and Rachel! Thank you so much for my postcard!! I need to scan the ones you've sent me and post them they are so cool and bizzare.
Anyway I am duty, better do my last round and then a few hours of sleep before my show. :-p
