I'm confuzzled but happy....

Last night was really....fun!

So I went over to Ben's about 8-ish and he met me at the bus stop and we walked over to Safeway to pick up the last few things for dinner. Ben seemed really cheerful which was nice to see. I like it when he smiles. Dov (his rommate) hung out with a little bit and helped me stir one of the pots. I didn't tell Ben what I was making but Dov looked at recipes and thought it sounded good. I turned out okay, I messed up both recipes but they tasted fine. I think Ben liked them, he said he liked it. It was a tomato chicken curry and rice pudding.

After Dov left (he and Ben's other roommate Tim went to a concert) we just chilled and listened to music and talked about random things...mostly music. He let me borrow a bunch of CDs he had (including a ton of anime). I introduced him to Gogo Bordello (cause he likes accordian/violin combo bands) and gave me some kickin music to borrow including a french rock band that is freakin' sweet. (Yes Ames, I am going to burn you a copy)

He never mentioned the friends speech although I really thought it was coming. I don't know if he chickened out or had a slight change of heart. I was glad cause I was having fun just hanging out and talking with him.

Mike (Comm major, was in my field geology class...etc) dropped by around 11:30 to drop off his car for Ben to borrow. Ben's mom was flying in from Boston and he had to pick her up at 1am. Mike was so surprised when I answered the door.

Ben needed to take Mike home and then was going to drop me off, Mike had to stop and fill up the tank. I thought it was really cute when we stopped to get gas, Ben found a geode in Mike's car and showed it to me. Me of course, dork girl, got really excited. Ben laughed a little.

Like I said it was really fun just being able to talk to Ben more and learn more about him. I love to hang out with him.

We'll see what happens....I can only hope things just keep going up from here.
